OLLI Onboarding Process
For New Instructors
Interested OLLI Instructors should be directed to our website's Home page at www.sierraolli.org. From there they should visit our Teach for Us page, listed under ABOUT OLLI, for detailed proposal information.
Submit your New Instructor Course Proposal(s) for decided Term(s) to Shari Smith, OLLI Program Manager by specified deadline.
The Sierra College OLLI Curriculum Committee will review your completed Course Proposal Form and notify you by phone or mail if it is approved.
Note: Keep in mind that the process for review can take anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks depending on the date of your submission.

MEMBERSHIP YEAR: 2025/2026
- OLLI Membership 2025-2026 is only $25/person to join and is valid until July 31, 2026. This Membership covers our Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 Terms.
- If you are not a current member, a Membership must be purchased before registering for Fall 2025 Term course offerings or you must have a Membership in your shopping cart.
FALL 2025 TERM - CURRENT
- Fall 2025 Class Registration Opens: Tuesday, July 29th at 9:00 AM!
- Fall 2025 Term Dates: (M) August 25 – (F) December 19
*No classes:
- (M) September 1
- (M) October 13 - (F) October 17
- (Tu) November 11
- (Th) November 27 - (F) November 28
SPRING 2026 TERM - UPCOMING
- Spring 2026 Class Registration Opens: Wednesday, January 7th at 10:00 AM!
- Spring 2026 Term Dates: (M) January 26 – (F) May 15
*No classes:
- (F) February 13 | President's Weekend
- (M) February 16 | President's Weekend
- (M) March 23 - (F) March 27 | Spring Break
Online-Zoom Class Recordings
- If your Online OLLI Zoom class is scheduled to be recorded, a recording icon and/or message will appear after the Zoom link/class information, on your emailed, course confirmation (in addition to the student registration website, at the bottom of each course description).
- Zoom class recording links will be automatically emailed to all students registered in each course once available. Please wait at least 24 hours, after a class has ended, before requesting the class recording link be emailed to you.
- Zoom Class Recording Expiration Date Policy Update: All class recordings will expire after 30 days (as is Sierra College policy).
Parking Permits
- Parking permits are required on the main Sierra College
campuses (Rocklin and Nevada County). A free parking
permit will be mailed to registered members and instructors of in-person classes happening at either campus. If you
registered late and haven’t received a parking permit,
daily parking permits are available to purchase from the
dispensers in the parking lots for $3 per day.

Welcome! I finished creating this website on 11/20/2022. I intend to add and revise content as necessary. My goal in creating this resource website for OLLI instructors, is to shorten lengthy communication emails and provide a one-stop-shop for all instructor questions and needs.
